In ancient Greek and Roman art, the depiction of drapery and textiles was a significant element, showcasing the artists' skill in rendering the natural flow and folds of fabric. The IOD Bows mould captures this essence, with its detailed depiction of the ribbon's folds reminiscent of the attention to drapery in classical sculptures. 

During the IOD Sisteres trips to Bath and London, they were awe-inspired by the relief work in the ancient stone buildings with these motifs. They knew they had to bring that timeless beauty to our community with this design. 

Project Suggestions: 

• Furniture: Bows make an excellent connector for swags. Smaller bows can be used under knobs or as an excellent addition to relief compositions designed for harmonizing with the piece's lines. 

• Small Decor: Lamps, jars, vases, candles, serving trays, and plant pots. 

• Wall Art: Excellent for dimensional frieze compositions OR crowning a subject within the frame.
